Anger issues in older people?

I can't say why this is so, but my dad and my uncle is fond of easily getting annoyed by the slightest things when they are faced with an issue. Sometimes, I feel that they act in a manner just to protect themselves. Do you think this is a big challenge for them or what?

There was lots of lead in products that the baby boomers were exposed to as young kids. I feel like this has lots to do with their anger issues and their inability to adapt to changes in the world. Because things are constantly changing, they don't like it and they express anger. Not all baby boomers are like this but a good majority of them are. Also the older you get, the more your body deteriorates so being in pain all the time can cause one to be angry all the time too.

I think that older people getting angry easily has more to do with insecurities arising from cultural, technological and societal differences between their time and now. They just can't relate. And that gets to irritate them easily v

I've also observed that my dad and uncle, both senior citizens, tend to get irritated quite easily. I think this is because of their upbringing, as they grew up during a time when seeking help from mental health professionals was uncommon. So, they often had to bottle up their emotions.

It’s important to approach them with empathy, ensure regular medical checkups, and encourage open communication or counseling to manage their emotions effectively.

It could be anything, but i think most people with anger issues often use anger as some sort of coping mechanism, it's more like a default setting when they are stressed or struggling with something.

Anger issues in older people often stem from stress, health problems, or feelings of loss and frustration. I think giving them a company, spending time with them helps address this issue
