Some of my friends and I like to watch true crime content. Whether it be a youtuber going on about a serious crime, or a documentary about a past case, do you think it's wrong that we take a fascination in true crime content? I like to find out why people do these things. I'm not into the crimes, but more the psychology of why people would murder or commit other heinous crimes.

I don’t think watching true crime automatically means someone has a problem. I think many people are drawn to it out of curiosity, interest in psychology, or love of suspense. It only becomes concerning if it affects daily life, sleep, or perspective on reality.

Reading true crime stories or watching true crime stories are not in any way linked with any king of mental disorders. There might be various reasons why people enjoy reading or watching such shoes but this is completely normal behavior. Even I used to watch dramatized version of crime stories when I was in my late teens and early adulthood. These days, I have lost interest on such shows, though
