Have you recovered from suffering OCD?

Suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder can be a very serious for someone depending on how it's affecting the person's life. Do you know anyone who's been suffering from OCD? How long did it take for them to get treated of the illness? If you have had OCD, have you been able to recover from it?

I haven't suffered from OCD. I had a roommate who was suffering from OCD and she has not recovered up till now.
