Depression is not an easy thing to overcome, it often can be a debilitating problem we face on a daily basis. Some of us more than others. What works best for you in helping curb that depression? It may be just a simple as a hobby you enjoy, or going to visit family and friends. For me, I think being around family is what curbs my depression, especially my nieces and nephews. They are a bit part of my life and I cherish every moment they're in my life.

What is it for you though that helps you push past the depression the best?

For me, a combination of structure, activity, and social connection helps the most. Daily exercise, keeping a routine, talking openly with friends or family, and engaging in hobbies can lift mood. Sometimes professional support or therapy is essential when things get overwhelming.

I try to stay active.

I hike, bike, kayak, camp, and even squeeze into underground caves.

Nature is my best anti-depressant. I've been trying to increase my nature time lately after losing my dad. It's helped!
