Has there ever been a time where a video game made you emotional? If so, what video game and why? I know video games, like movies, can make us feel things. From movies like Saving Private Ryan, The Fall, The Green Mile, and so on. Now video games are at the same level of movie, but even more profitable. But this isn't about profits, it's about how some video games can make us feel.

There are a few games that got me emotional, from Telltales The Walking Dead, to Red Dead Redemption 2's ending, and of course, The Last of Us 1 and 2. There are many other games out there that made me feel, but those games comes to mind right away for me. What about you?

Absolutely. Some games tell stories so well that they feel like real experiences. I have felt sadness when a favorite character died, excitement during tough missions, and even pride after completing a hard challenge. Good storytelling and music in games can easily stir strong emotions.

I have never played any video game and so can't say about this as first hand experience. But yes, I have experienced it closely with my loved ones. My nephew and my elder daughter are into games. And I have seen how they get emotional while playing games. I have witnessed a whole lot of emotional rage. And yes, even crying out of extreme emotional surge in tense situations and emotional setups.

I have always felt deeply emotional when playing some video games that are deeply story driven and have elements of strong relationships. Those kinds of games always evoke emotions with themes like friendships, loss, love among other themes. One of such games that I play and get emotional is Last Of Us
