There is no denying the fact that a certain level of politics occurs in most working places. You see those who are willing to put others under the bus because they want to gain favour from the bosses at work. Do you think such office politics worsens mental health in the workplace?

Office politics can have a real impact on mental health because it adds social pressure on top of work itself.
When success depends not just on performance but also on relationships, perception, and alliances, it can create stress, anxiety, and constant self-monitoring. People may feel like they have to “manage impressions” all the time, which is draining.
